This page sends your message to our server
Everything else on WireAndWidgets stays in your browser. Every calculation, drawing, label, sticker, PDF, picture and saved design is handled on your own device and is never sent to us. This form is the one and only exception.
If you press Send, these three things leave your browser and are saved on our server until we read them:
- the message you type,
- the kind of message you choose, and
- the tool you say it is about, so we know where to look.
We do not save your name, email address, IP address, cookies, device or browser details, or anything you entered in the tools. Please do not put personal details, customer names or confidential job information in your message. We can only reply if you choose to put a way to reach you in the message itself.
The fine print, in plain words
- Our host can see your connection. Whoever hosts a website (here, Cloudflare) can see the network address of a visitor's connection while it delivers a page. That happens for every page on this site, not just this one. We do not save it with your message.
- Spam control. To stop floods of messages we keep a scrambled one-way code of the sender's connection, for up to one day, only to count how many messages come from one place. It cannot be turned back into an address and is not linked to your message.
- What we do with messages. Only the site owner reads them. They are used to fix problems and improve the tools, are not shared, sold or used for advertising, and may be archived or deleted at any time.
- Needs a connection. This is the one page that needs the internet. The rest of the site keeps working offline.
